The Multiplus I have installed doesn’t have the same format of serial numbers as those I’ve seen online. I’m trying to as ascertain date of manufacture, firmware etc...

That's the standard SN format; your unit was manufactured in week 46 of 2018.
The original FW version will be found on a sticker placed on the top of the processor (which you will see on the main control board, at the left side, if you remove the front cover) but of course that FW version may well have been updated since its original manufacture.
