Tr 12/12-9A cutting out at 10 volts not 7 volts

Hi, I have a Tr 12/12-9A (110W) isolated DC-DC converter and the unit is shutting off just below 10 volts. The specs say this shouldn't happen until 7 volts. Is there a way to fix this or is the unit faulty? I want to deep cycle my battery to about 8 volts so I get more useable capacity
