If you mean this option shown in the picture,
The Victron Community reputation system is a weighted score that shows up in the users profile to try and help judge a users contribution.
It can also be a trigger for additional site privileges.
If you appreciate someone's answer, you could upvote it, accept it, or award them some additional reputation (if you have earned it).
For each point you earn for yourself or receive, you can choose to give away/reward to someone else.
