I setup a simple setup with
1 x 44Ah LifePO batterie
1 x BMV-712 Smart Monitor
1 x SmartSolar Charger MPPT 100/20
Also setup a Raspberry PI as Gateway...
Now my issue while charging... the Smart Solar charger shows 84W while the 712 shows 148W?

Any advise what I did wrong or how I can fix this? Seems to make no sense to me..

I suspect that you have another battery or other charging device connected to the BMV712 shunt and DC systems
so turn the solar charger OFF and see if the BMV returns to zero amps. if it does not (which i suspect it wont return to zero) then please check out what else is sending the amps to the battery.
OR
Please make sure that both units the BMV and the smart solar are BOTH on the latest firmware.
then please supply the same screen shot as above and also a screen shot of the smart solar output by from the victron connect app showing the PV voltages and out puts and the battery voltage and outputs as displayed in the Victron connect app
and also the BMV 712 victron connect screens as well

ok, below 3 screen shots showing I'm on the latest firmware! on all BMV, MPPT and my Raspberry
I also did what you suggested this is everything running and reporting 88W from Solar and 154W on BMV
now I disconnected the solar panels. Solar reporting 0W and BMV reporting -11W I assume my usage on the 12V side like the fridge on idle and my Raspberry PI
and Solar connected again... no change...still oddly more on the BMV side? almost twice as much as the Solar side?
Any other hint what I could check?
