Inaccurate BMV712 Ah counter

Hi

LiFePO4 V smart lithium bank 450Ah (150Ah x 3)

When charging we always have a good handful of Ah left to go by the time the voltage is high and the amps are reducing . LPG gen and multiplus is a tad less and happy to go into absorption at 14.4v leaving about -20ah. It still charges but by this time we're looking at about 6-8A so it'd need a good few (fuel wasteful) hours to go.

Is this normal?
Should I ignore it and wait for longer slower solar days to get to 0Ah?

Engine charging typically -38ah when 14.4v (relay switches off at 14.4v and back on at 13.3v) and all cells balanced and above 3.55v
