pv voltage mirors batteries while motor is running??

While my mppt 100/30 is off because of not enough pv voltage/sunlight (14.78v). I decided to run my auxiliary power to charge my battery bank of two 6v golfcarts in series. While monitoring my batteryz voltage via victron connect I noticed my pv voltage dropped to the same as the batteries staying consistently .03v above the batteries. Wondering if there is a reason or if my system is having problems??

Any light is much appreciated :)

Hi Justin,

Most likely a wiring fault. Check to make sure that the PV negative wire from the panels goes ONLY and directly to the PV input of the MPPT.

It cannot touch the frame of the vehicle, or battery negative terminal.
