Bouvht the latest Smart solar MPPT because it has VE.CAN,now I read that remote configuration is not available yet using VE.CAN. Should I wait or buy VE. Direct cables to have the option?

That depends, usually MPPT's only have to be configured once, (or never with managed batteries). so just configure them through bluetooth and use the system with VE.CAN is usually the best answer.
