How large a surge current can the Load output handle on SmartSolar 75/10? Will it automatically reset with time or the next cycle if overloaded?

Using the SmartSolar 75/10 streetlight control to control an actual streetlight. Occasionally it will trip the Load protection circuitry and shut the load off. We are working with the LED manufacturer to reduce the initial surge when connecting. Is there any tolerance above 10 Amps for short surge currents to charge a power supply capacitor? Under what conditions will the short circuit protection attempt to turn the load back on?

Looking at the manual the max continuous current for the 75/10 is 15A. Anything more than 15A will trigger the automatic disconnect.

I've tried to look for conditions when it turns back on but all the manual says for a capacitive load is "Disconnect DC load during start-up of the capacitive load, Disconnect AC load from the inverter, or connect inverter as explained in section 3.6"
