VE Bus and MultiPlus On/Off question

I just recently installed a VE Bus for the Bluetooth capability. My question is do you keep the MultiPlus always in the ON position to utilize the on/off feature in the app? Or can you have it in the off position and do the same control from the app?

Do you mean you have a VE.Bus Smart Dongle?

The Multi always have to be switched on to switch it via the dongle.
