Wire size gauge for MPPT 150/35

THANKS IN ADVANCE

I am going to install Mppt 150/35 with 2kW pv input.from the panel to MPPT charger distance around 60 meter . panel details are mentioned below .totally 6 panels 330W , i was used to connect 3 panel in series like that two strings.

panel details :

Nominal Maximum Power (Pm) in Watts 330

Power tolerance 0 / + 5 W

Open Circuit Voltage (Voc) in Volts 45.60

Short Circuit Current (Isc) in Amps 9.40

Voltage at Maximum Power (Vmp) in Volts 36.55

Current at Maximum Power (Imp) in Amps 9.03

Maximum System Voltage in Volts 1000

Module Efficiency (%) 17.01

Maximum Series Fuse Rating (A) 15

please advice me how to choose the cable size in sqr mm.

site in south india so there is no more issues with snow and all.

No snow/frosts is good, 3 series x 2 parallel is probably not going over the Mppt's max voltage input limit.

I have always calculated the DC power/voltage loss at 1%.

You have a 60 meter (200 foot) DC cable run...

I use this Voltage Drop Calculator. to do the maths..

Copper cable costs a lot of of money.

2awg (35mm) seems good. Voltage Calculation.

@kaarthik Hi, where did you buy Victron MPPT in south India. Please provide contact details of the dealer.

I am planning to buy 150/70 but need to make sure that the MPPT can withstand the summer temperature while handling the load.

Can you please provide your setup specs like which model Invertor do you use, with or without GX etc.
