Multiplus Compact 12|500|20 unresponsive

So the in-warranty replacement unit has been running since August 2019 but has failed now in exactly the same way as the original unit.

The unit is completely unresponsive.

Battery = 12.5VDC

Mains present and within specification

No LED indications and no output.

Internal fuse is OK

MultiPlus Quattro Inverter Charger

Attachments: Up to 8 attachments (including images) can be used with a maximum of 190.8 MiB each and 286.6 MiB total.

So unsure what to do here.

If the failure mode is the same as before, then can I expect the same failure again with a replacement?

Is there a know stock issue with the equipment which means that this failure is unavoidable, or is there a known fix or workaround?
