Quattro Solar configuration

What is there already

- Quattro 24V 8000VA 200Amp 1943143

- Color Control GX FW 2.54

- BMV-700 FW 3.08 including Shunt

- 6x AGM battery 250Ah, Series/Parallel bank 24V-

- Outback Flexmax 60 Solar Charger-

- 13x Solarpanel 155W I 5,08A

- Generator set 230V 30A

What we want to accomplish

- Use as much Solarpower as possible

- Switch Generator when needed within timeframe (not at night)

- Only use AC shorepower when stricly needed (costs)

What we think is needed

- Run the latest firmware on the Quattro (FW159)

- A Battery Balancer to protect the series/parallel 24V battery bank.

Questions

- Will this be possible with Virtual Switch FW159 on the Quattro

- Or is it advisable to take a look at Assistants to accomplish this.

- What can we do with the alarm output of the Battery Balancer in this configuration

- What should we do with the setup of the 2 chargers (Outback / Quattro)

Suggestions

- Any suggestions to look in to

If you haven't done this already.

In the VRM System setup, you should enable "Has DC system", to see the outback's contribution.
