Firmware update for SmartLithium Battery (v1.17 -> 1.19) fails.

Since a few days I have an issue with my SmartLithium Battery (12V 90Ah).

When trying to connect the phone to the battery, VictronConnect tries to

update the firmware of the battery from v1.17 to v1.19. However the update

never finish. I get the attached screen on my phone. I left the phone beside

the battery overnight but nothing changed. I tried to found help for this

problem on victrons support pages but could not find the required help.

Does anybody know whats going wrong in my case. And what can I do to solve

my problem?

Hi @Patschke, sorry to hear about this issue! We’ll get it resolved.

Is there nothing further below on that screen? Ie. a start button? Perhaps you can slide up/down a bit?

and what model phone do you have?

the alternative is to try another phone - perhaps there is someone else nearby.

Hallo mvader,

there is somewhat more at the bottom of the screen. However I cannot

slide the screen. Also shrink/increase does not work. Phone is a Samsung

Galaxy J1. This phone made previous updates without problems. At this

moment no other phone is available to me. I must ask arround but another

phone should be available in 1-2 days.

Hi, one thing you can try is to change the language to english?

we’re working to make the german version work is as well, it will take a several weeks before officially released.

I changed the language to english. However VictronConnect

shows the same behaviour.

ok, thats too bad. Then either find a phone or tablet with a larger display, or await our fix. We're working on this now.

I got a phone with a higher display resolution. With that phone a button

at the bottom of the screen became visible. Now I was able to launch the

firmware update. Thanks for your help.

In French with iphone 5S : same problem : Update impossible.

In French with iPhone XR : The button "Update" is displayed at the bottom of the screen. Update is possible.

So, if you have only a small iphone to use VictronConnect, you need help !

The display bug is on iPhone 5S (french),

For example, with an iPhone X (french), it's ok.
