Is there a way to change the 5 Volt difference between the bat voltage and the pv voltage to start the charching sequenze?

Due to the parallel installation of my solar moduls I have only appr 16,5 Volts at the PV side. To start the charging sequence I need a 5 Volt difference to the bat voltage. That means, my bat voltage has to drop below 11,5 Volts to start the charging mode. Is there a solution other than a parallel wiring of my moduls?

The 5V difference is a hard limit. The converter physically cannot start until there is enough overhead Voltage. Unfortunately there is not a firmware adjustment or anything like that.

The only solution is to increase your PV Voltage by wiring them in series.
