MQTT Measurement Accuracy vs ve.direct

Hello everyone,

I just installed Venus OS on my raspberry pi instead of using a custom ve.direct script for data logging and I realized that the values published on the MQTT broker do not have a very high accuracy despite looking very accurate by having lots of digits:

Example: N/abcdef/battery/288/Dc/0/Voltage {"value": 12.739999771118164}

When using the ve.direct serial port, the voltage reading was in millivolts and fluctuated of course very much.

Is this expected? Where does this loss of accuracy come from?
