MPPT 75/15 to control Victron inverter model Phoenix VE.Direct 12/500

In the MPPT 75/15 manual there are two ways described how to control an inverter model Phoenix VE.Direct. Which type of control has to be choosen for the inverter model Phoenix VE.Direct 12/500. This model is explicitly missing in the description of the pictures (figure 4). Do I need a ASS030550100 or not..... Thanks

Can I connect the inverter directly to the DC Load?

No..!.. The load terminals can only handle 15a@12v.


An inverter will draw much more than 15a.

The jumper wire needs to be removed (from the connector) for remote control.

I think my diagram came from a MPPT manual.?
