Is BMV Reader software compatible with Smartshunt?

I would say so, but I can't find it written anywhere.... I would like to connect Smarshunt 500 to my PC via VE.direct/ USB cable. Will I succeed?

Up to 8 attachments (including images) can be used with a maximum of 190.8 MiB each and 286.6 MiB total.

The Smart shunt is not available until September, as far as I know and yes it will work the same as a BMV712 but without the display, well thats what I have been lead to believe anyway. I have been waiting a long time for this type of unity so it will be great when I can get my hands on it as well.

Yes, I also think of it as a BMV without display, hence my idea to use it with BMV Reader x86 software. But you say it is not yet available? I was meaning to order one to my distributor next week...

Just try to order one and see how you go, I received one about a month or two ago, although its possible that stocks may have dried up since.
