Is it possible to programm a MPPT 100-50 controller to use with a 36 Volt battery system?

Hi Jakob,

You can see the solar charge controllers that are compatible with 36V battery banks on this page underneath the model numbers.

https://www.victronenergy.com/solar-charge-controllers

Generally speaking it is the 150V models that are compatible.

The 100/50 is limited to 12 and 24V

No, that model only goes up to 24V system Voltages. It is a hardware limitation, not firmware.
For 36V system Voltage you need to use the 150/xx and 250/xx models.

Thank you for the info. I was confused, because in MPPT 100-50 manual is written at 3.5 configuration: fully programmable charge algorithm (see the software page) and at 5. specifications: charge voltage: 14,4 V / 28,8 V / 57,6 V - adjustable -
