Multiplus 500 Model Difference?

Hi,

Can someone please confirm if there are any differences between the following two model numbers?

- PMP481500000

- CMP485010000

Both appear to be the MultiPlus 48/500/6-16 230V VE.Bus

Thanks

MultiPlus Quattro Inverter Charger

Where did you found the PMP481500000 ?
In the current pricelist Q1 2020 is only the CMP485010000 available and when I search for the PMP on the Victron homepage is says "No results found" ?!

Normally the PMP should be the new model in the new case(steel/plastic) and the CMP the old one in an aluminium case.

I'm guessing, but here we go..

The 'C' the designation of a Compact, not necessarily in the original box, but the functionality. Which meant no Power Assist.

The 'P' model signifying either Power Assist or MultiPlus functionality.

That model didn't come with that originally, but may be available now, both the datasheet and retail pricelist yet to catch up.

This Australian dealer has both listed, the P one more expensive.. https://www.outbackmarine.com.au/power-conversion/inverter-chargers/victron-multiplus-500va-to-1600va/ One Euro = $A1.8 as of today.

That dealer lists one as VE.Bus, but not the other. Oversight? No mention of VE.Direct connectivity.
