Blue & Smart both MPPTs. But besides that Smart has BT capability is there anything else
gained or lost by going with Smart over traditional Blue. In particular, connectivity to other products?
Is SmartSolar = Blue + BT Dongle?
Both in terms of connectivity with other products e.g. CGCX, BVM, Multiplus ?
How about performance?
The SmartSolar has BT that is the only difference.
With the SmartSolar you have BT and a VE.direct port to connect it to a GX device.
With the BlueSolar you can have BT or a connection to a GX device.
In some systems you need the VE.direct port to remotely switch the MPPT on/off with the "VE.Direct non inverting remote on/off cable". In such a system you also have no BT with a BlueSolar.
The product range of SmartSolar MPPTs is much bigger.
