My inverter wont turn the ac 120 shore power into DC but it does turn the dc from the alternators with engine running into ac. Just stopped working last month it says its charging but it won't charge the batteries when connected to shore power.

VE multilPlus 12v cant 120amp wont covert the ac shore power to dc. But ac works with engines running. Help.
