Buying a multiplus, which one?

My system that I want to build in my 12v/120v RV...

Four 315 watt mono panels

Eight 280ah LiFePo4 cells

What solar controller would I need for these setups below?

I also want a 3000 multiplus but I have no idea if I should order a 12/3000 or a 24/3000?

Does a 24 charge 24v batteries and output 12v to the RV or do you need a 12v for that?

How would you setup this system? Comments appreciated. Thanks.

Hi @Lukevader

Run your panel specs and Vbat options through this calculator. https://mppt.victronenergy.com/

What you'll find is that the recommended mppt size will halve @24V. There's a $$ saving there alone, along with smaller wires.

Spend some of the savings on an Orion 24/12 dc converter for your 12V loads. Like one of these: https://www.victronenergy.com.au/upload/documents/Datasheet-Orion-Tr-DC-DC-converters-isolated-100-250-400W-EN.pdf

I'd go 24V. In a heartbeat..
