Buck Boost 50A DC-DC Converter only as DC-DC converter?

i want to use a Buck Boost DC-DC Converter for a 24V auxiliary heating (24V 480W) in a truck, is this possible with this converter? - No battery should be charged with it, it should only be used as a DC-DC converter with a constant output voltage of 25 V and 25 A.

Hi @Wolfgang Wuttke

Yes, that should work.

But those are very expensive units. You could also consider a paralleled pair of these: https://www.victronenergy.com.au/upload/documents/Datasheet-Orion-Tr-DC-DC-converters-isolated-100-250-400W-EN.pdf

At far less than half the price. Even the 400W ones..

Even picking a Smart model (which you wouldn't need), would save you (or your client) heaps.
