CAN Bus BMS and CCGX

Hi, All

I am very new for communication protocol . Just one question, CCGX can recognise BYD BMS or Zell BMS or other for example through CAN bus. However, each BMS has its own program and resisters, addresses. How CCGX know that BMS is ok for control inverter charging and discharging battery. Again, if I have a Can bus BMS, can I communicate with CCGX. Thanks very much!

If you have a BMS that communicates via CAN bus then the BMS will send commands out onto the bus. The commands have to be in a specific format for other devices to read them. A BMS that is controlling a Multiplus charger that is connected to the CCGX will only work if they are written correctly.
