Battery capacity not in AH on data sheet

Hi

I have a set of CSB HRL12330W form a decommissioned UPS

The battery capacity is listed as follows on the data sheet anyone know how to calculate the what is the AH capacity to program into my inverter

350W @15 minute-rate to 1.67V per cell @25℃ (77°F)

Hi There,

Using the datasheet and the 60min, value from the table below. You can see that the battery can give a maximum of 784W in 1 hour with constant power discharge.

Using the nominal battery voltage you can now calculate the Ah rating for this battery at C1.

Ah = Wh/V, or 784W/12V (1 hour values) = 65Ah for each battery. Please note that these are for new batteries under ideal conditions. You will get more Ah if you discharge at a slower rate. Using the 90min values 578/12*1.5 = 72,25Ah and with 30mins you are looking at 54.9Ah.

Hi Riaan thanks yeah was thinking along similar lines but the multi and the BMV need the C20 AH capacity how do you calculate that based on the info in the data sheet

Taking into account that these are second-hand, I would go no higher than 100Ah for the settings on the BMV.
