Looking for the correct installation method for parallel Orions. I understand the source would be from vehicles alternator and earth to chassis but connecting to the battery do you just run each to the pos and neg terminals? If running with MPPTs also, would the limit of 4 also be across all charging?
Parallel Installations are as you describe. But keep the cabling exactly the same length, use conductive paste and good cable size. Note: 1) The 12/12 30A gives out quite a bit of heat. ( the 12% + inefficiency is all going up in heat) 2) for two in parallel use the remote input and a wire from the ignition circuit as if one cuts in before the other , trying to set the auto voltage cut in on/off may be difficult.
