Multiplus and fronius

Hello everyone, I want your help for this .

I want to use Fronius primo 3K and multiplus 800Va to avoid injection. SO my question is that the fronius primo 3K can be put on the AC out of the multiplus 800VA, for me it is impossible since the fronius output is bigger than the multiplus 800Va.

Any suggestion are welcome.

You are correct. You cannot connect a PV inverter on AC-OUT which is more powerful than the MultiPlus. This is known as the factor 1.0 rule.

The same 1:1 limit applies for all AC solar inverters connected to AC output of the Multiplus.

It’s best to use a DC MPPT to add more solar to small inverter chargers.

Another option, if grid connected, is to put AC solar on AC input and user an energy meter.
