Dual Multiplus II (48v 5000) Split Phase Showing Negative AC Current

I have a new setup with two MultiplusII units installed in a boat with a Cerbo and a 230aH 48v LifeP04 battery with a JK Inverter BMS communicating with the Multis over CAN bus. Boat is fed by two 30A 120v shore power cords and all wiring is symetrical and equal lengths. Everything is working as expected, except:

  • When the second inverter connected to the L2 leg is idle (HVAC equipment is off), it reports to be consuming negative current.
  • The wattage being drawn is also negative, but has no correlation to the reported voltage and amperage (122.1v at -1.7A is not -18W)!?!?!?
  • The voltage has been tested wtih a multimeter to be 120v on both legs of the split phase power. L1 is showing 118.3v and L2 is showing 122.1v.

Any ideas of why this weirdness might exist?
