Can the Victron BlueSolar MPPT 75/15 be connected to solar panels to charge 12v AGM battery without purchasing the bluetooth dongle and playing with the settings??

With BlueSolar MPPT is bluetooth dongle really required?
Out of the box the settings are suitable for the most lead-acid/GEL/AGM batteries(14.4V absorption/13.8V float). But if you have some kind of special battery that requires other values(look at the datasheet), you should buy a SmartSolar or the BT dongle to make the proper settings.
