mcp3208 ADC on raspbery pi stopped working after version 3.31

I find when updating software that not all channels on my ADC are read my normal approach is to copy dbus-adc.conf and reboot. Now I find only some of the channels are measured. In paticular one 9analogue io device 0:3) reads 0V.


Has anyone else found this and found a solution
