I have a Multiplus II 3000/12/120 230v and Bluetooth VE Bus Smart Dongle, with a simple remote switch wired to short/open the jumper on the J connector as the manual describes. I also have a USB MK3 that is only connected when configuring.
The issue is that the remote switch has no effect. If I leave it open, the inverter still runs. If I shut it off at the power switch and turn back on, it powers right up into inverter mode, completely ignoring that block J isn't shorted.
I have since unplugged the Smart Dongle to see if that was overriding it. But the issue persists. I'm hoping this isn't related to the Smart Dongle in any event, because I really want the functionally of being able to monitor it with Victron Connect and also have a conveniently placed on/off switch.
Any help is most appreciated.
