250/100 mppt can i have 2 panel types??

Hi All!

I've just picked up some cheap longi panels to add to my existing system but realised that being a different wattage is not a good thing.

I'm going through old posts and online etc but thought it worth a post.

ive got 4 x longi lr5-54htb-430m 430w panels which i wanted to add to:

6x 375w Eurener Zebra panels feeding into

mppt250/100-tr charging 24v batt bank made up of photonic universe 2v 500ah 10hr AGMs

can these panels be integrated to feed one controller on 2 strings in parallel?

i would be very grateful for any advice, thoughts, or pointers.

Thanks

You can try, but you should pay attention to the current and VoC.

Anyway, the MPPT will have hard time to find MPP, because will be multiple ones.

Also take a look at this: https://solarpanelsvenue.com/mixing-solar-panels/
