new Victron SmartSolar 150/70 Ve.CAN synchronize without GX device

simple question.

Can two of the new Victron SmartSolar 150/70 Ve.CAN controllers synchronize between each other without the use of a GX device?

Hi @brinx38

I've asked for you, and, yes:

"Just checked the changelog, it says that firmware v1.02 or higher should support synchronised charging over ve.can.

The units can talk to eachother directly so no central device (Venus GX) is needed for this to work.

Specific for VE.CAN it is a requirement that the units have the same device instance (default this is set to 0). If you don't want synchronised operation the device instances need to be set to different values. "
