how to Device mounting on (metal) perforated rear panel

first of all: sorry for my bad english.

How do you mount/attach devices such as Victron charge boosters, charge controllers etc on your perforated back panel.?

Especially if the devices do not have screw holes, but only screw tabs that are open on the outside?

Do you enlarge the holes in the rear panel to screw the devices in or drill them larger if necessary?

Do you use screw nuts or spacers / spacer sleeves behind your perforated back panel into which the appliances are screwed, or do you only use the spacers on the outer corners of the perforated back panel + to stabilize the wall?

Are there perhaps even suitable hooks that can be used to hold the devices securely in place and prevent them from falling down, but still allow them to be removed flexibly?

This is another topic that is not illuminated and where I'm a bit on the fence.
