Multigrid not running on batteries..?

My customer's system comprises:
24/3000 Multigrid - latest firmware update installed
Aurora PV Inverter with array
24V/200Ah NiFe battery set.
Standard Grid connection
Household loads

They want the system to charge the batteries during the day from the solar power and discharge at night. It's not discharging from the batteries at night.

I've checked the wiring and it all looks right to me. He tells me it is as per a Victron specification.

The Multi sees the batteries and charges from the grid and/or the PV, but is not discharging overnight.

I've flashed the firmware to latest version (1949159) reset to factory, and programmed the parameters to suit the NiFe batteries but it won't discharge them after PV input drops off in the evening.

What could be wrong?

I have read the first and third articles but not the middle one.

I'll read that one now.

I didn't install the system but have just been asked to troubleshoot.

Hi Guy,

I've read the Firmware and Config ones and have done both of those tasks numerous times.

I'll read the ESS one shortly - just got fires in the area so I'm a bit distracted.
