My PMP122305100 when connected to shore power (30a selected on my cerbo screen) ramps up with louder and louder buzzing which causes a 100A breaker to constantly trip to my 400ah lifepo4 battery bank. I confirmed with my battery monitor its trying to dump over 99A into them before the breaker blows. Am I missing a setting on this inverter somewhere or is this defective and needs to be fixed or replaced?

The 12V 3000VA MultiPlus has a max. charging current of 120A. The 24V model can charge with 70A.
Read the datasheet/manual.
30A refers to AC input current, not charge current.
30A * 120V = 3600W
3600W/12V = 300A
You need to set the charger current to 80A
Additionally, it appears you have discovered a design issue with your system. If charging at 100A is tripping breakers, then you're going to trip breakers if you use more than 100A * 12V = 1200W, and you have a 3000W inverter, which you should size for at least a 300A draw.
Sooo my brain had to dwell on this for a bit. I figured it out that I made a mistake when I switched from a multiplus to a multiplus ii. Somehow I had mixed up a 100A breaker for the 12v supply going into the fuse panel inside the rv and a 400A fuse connection in my lynx panel coming from the battery. I reversed it so the 12v internal fuse panel was on the 400A fuse and the batteries went to the 100A breaker Lol. Anyway, it's all fixed and the inverter now runs something more than 800 watts. Thanks snoobler for kick starting my brain.
