I have Phoenix Multi-Plus 24v 3000VA 70amp unit and Skylla-TG 24 100 on the SAME batteries! Surely this is wrong?

It’s a lot of charge current potential, but not necessarily wrong?

Sometimes this configuration is advised if you need to isolate a very bad grid. The skylla can take a terrible grid voltage, use it effectively while the multi supplies nice clean power to the loads.

Then generator is connected to the multi for the power assist features.

Hi Chris. It's certainly a lot of charge capacity, unless you have a very large batt bank. Have you 'inherited' this system? Both have ways to limit their max charge current, then the batts will likely self-limit anyway, so they can't push beyond what the batts (and concurrent loads) can accept.

Maybe tell us more about your system, and your concerns..

Edit/: Crossed with Guy, but I'll leave it anyway.
