Lithium batteries slowly lose voltage

Greetings,

I’m new to LiFePo4 batteries and how they should work with my Magnum Inverter. I’ve installed the Victron 500A Smart Shunt to monitor the two 230Ah batteries. While my motorhome is not in travel mode, I am connected to a 50A shore power pedestal. I do use the Residential refrigerator that’s on board for extra storage. Since I am powering the refrigerator, would it be normal for a 100% SOC to slowly drop over several days? I’m curious why the shore power doesn’t allow the batteries to be kept at 100% SOC.

Thank you for your patience,

Dale

You don't say what equipment charges the batteries from shore power.

If the shunt isn't installed properly it will report incorrect values. Usual culprit is connections to the battery negative which bypass the shunt.

Otherwise you'll have to consult the charger supplier.
