As a electrical dummy (still learning a lot) I am wondering the following.
We have a multiplus 3000 (see picture) on board of our second hand sailing boat. If
we would go to the other side of the atlantic ocean and come in marinas where there is 110V , how will this work?
Or what is needed to get this to work?
We do have solar to charge the batteries but when in a marina it would be nice to also use shore power?
Best way is to add a transformer. This would have a separate shore power inlet. Transformer will feed AC in on the multiplus. You should have a transfer switch between the transformer and.existimg shore power.
There's also an autotransformer option.
Most of your AC kit will work on 60Hz, as well as the existing 50Hz. But best to check.
