What is causing slow charging?

I'm seeing very slow charging speed, in ESS I enabled feedin excess AC solar.

I would expect to charge battery charging with around 30A (for mp2 3000). Battery is set to allow charging up to 180A

What could cause this? Is it due to the 'battery Life ' setting I enabled and it expects sun for the rest of the day?

At 80-83% the system would usually send all DC PV to charge batteries, but you don't have any.

It would also not use grid for charging unless it was 77% or less.

So I am not sure if the system is treating your PV inverter as grid and just not using it, which would be normal. for a grid connection.

Change your mode to keep charged, that should force it to charge.

All your surplus is being exported, so I would look at the config of your system and make sure it is right.

@zonnigBreda

Switch to optimised without battery life.if you want it to charge faster at low temperatures.

It is under 17°C so the slow charge is triggered by the temperature.

This does not affect the low temp cut off charge value if you have one set for the batteries.
