Remote switch

Hi

I have a multiplus compact 12/1600 in my caravan and wanted to use the remote switch capability, however I can not get this to work! I had attached a cable to the ground (middle) and the third connection (on) with an on/off switch but nothing happens.

Help please

Have you moved the Dip switches to enable the remote switch feature? DS1 is the one you need to move from default to enable a remote switch.

I tried this on a MP12/500 a few days ago with an ON/OFF/ON switch and it worked fine, but you do really want the 3 way switch rather than a simple On/Off to replicate the MPs switch of On/Off/Charger Only

Yes I moved it to the off position, but nothing happened.

I do have the Bluetooth smart dongle connected, is that why it’s not working?

Yup. you cannot have both.
