Quattro problems with loads over 10000W

Hello folks,

I have a question, I operate around 30 ESS systems with Mulitplus II 48/5000 for customers, without any problems.

Now I have the second system running with Quattro 48/10000, and both have the same issue:

For loads over 10000W (distributed over 3 phases, e.g. L1=4000W, L2=4000W, L3=4000W)
the system draws everything higher than 10000W from the power grid,
means: 12000W load = 10000W from the battery + 2000W from the mains

According to the BMS, the maximum battery discharge current is 560A.

Everything works wonderfully in island operation, tested with 18000W for 30 minutes.

Does anyone have an idea?

Thanks Rob

@robe86 What is your grid voltage? The Multiplus 5kva unit for example is designed for 5kVA at 230v. the higher the grid voltage above this in ESS mode, the lower the capacity of the Multiplus. My grid voltage can be as high as 253v where I live which signifyingly reduces the efficient and capacity of my 5kVa unit. I get 4.2kW output at best with a power factor of 0.95 (might be worse than that) and a DC-AC efficiency of 85%. off-grid, ive had over 5kW loads on the MPII with a DC-A efficiency of 90% but with a output voltage of 232v.
