Why do the quattro inverters cost more than twice as much as the multi plus of the same kva? Is it really that much more expensive to incorporate a 2nd ac in in the quattro to warrant such a much higher price? Or is the quattro build quality superior to the multiplus 2?
there are also extra aux relays, pus the extra ac 2 in input . you can only compare it to the multiplus.
the multiplus II units are the newer generation models and they use different tech and thus can be made for less
The Quattros have aboard what is effectively an AC Automatic Transfer Switch. Price a quality standalone external one of those of similar capacity and you'll soon realize where at least a lot of the extra cost comes from.
