SOC and ESS

I have had a Colour Cotrol and 4x Victron 90AH lipo battery system for many years and run the ESS with Optimised for Battery Life. It’s worked as expected incrementing and decrementing minimum SOC based on charge on previous day.

I have just updated the firmware and ESS assistant to the latest versions and the system now seems to behave strangely, the Min SOC is set to 35. The active SOC yesterday reached 35 also. Today the active SOC has jumped to 80.

Any ideas what’s going on or is this a bug in a firmware release?

Thanks.

What was your old firmware?
A big jump means many changes. I would observe the behavior a few days.

It was only an update of changes over the last 3 to 4 months.

I’ll give it a few days and see whether it corrects itself.

Thank you.
