Different voltage readings between easysolar and battery terminal

I've seen this question asked a few times.

The measurement at the battery terminal is about .3 volt lower than what my easysolar says.

I Have used a few different multimeters and they read the same.

Cable length is about 800mm and have attached a pic

Should I be compensating the voltage settings for this difference? And take true readings from the battery terminals as opposed to relying on the inverter?

This could easily be due to some loose connection. In that case, the voltage readings difference should zero-out with zero current. Did you check the voltage at the inverter side with a multimeter?

Will check at inverter tomorrow as well as connections. All battery connections are good.

ATM am waiting for a smart shunt to arrive. When they happens I'll be cleaning all connections as well as retightening
