Finding Max AC Output Current for Phoenix Multiplus?

I've got an older Phoenix Multiplus 12/3000/120, and I can't figure out what the maximum AC output current is.


The paper manuals I've got don't seem to provide a value for "pass through" or "feed through" current, and while I know it has the PowerAssist feature, I'm not sure what the max input current it can add to is.


I feed the Multiplus with either 50A of shore power or a 7kW generator; can all 50A+ of power pass through the Multiplus to AC loads, or is the AC power that can input and pass through imited to a certain amount?


Can PowerAssist boost beyond that amount, or is the total output power limited?


I've seen a few conflicting examples, and I'm not totally sure if the specs on the newer 12/3000/120 MPs match up to my "Phoenix" branded one, so I'd love advice on how to find the max AC current that can be output from my Multiplus taking pass through and PowerAssist into account.

It should be written on the device itself.

Perfect, thanks! No labeling on the cover, but the sticker was inside the unit.


Looks like it's limited to 16A input, and 21A out (presumably including PowerAssist).

Do you know if the total power output can be more than the sticker Aac output rating?


I found a picture of a 12/3000/120-50 sticker, and while I'd expect at least 50Aac out via passthrough, I only see 21. Is it possible that the 21 is just the inverter out, and that all that power can supplement the Aac in via PowerAssist?

If so, then my older inverter can probably do 16+21 for 37Aac with PowerAssist.

AC Out means the inverter power.

The PowerAssist can add the inverter power on top of the power from the grid.
