Current draw high

The smart shunt draws .11 amps with only the shunt connected the data sheet shows < 1 mill amp not 110 mill amp is the shunt bad? It is a SmartShunt HQ2229KAW

Look at the manual section 7.2.13, Zero Current Calibration. The trouble shooting section of the manual, Section 10.3.3 covers this question.

I presume you're talking self-consumption. That <1mA quoted is perhaps misleading. It won't be that low with bluetooth enabled. What you're seeing may be correct with bt transmisssion.

Early models came with a 100mA fuse which gave some users issues. This was changed to a 1A fuse (from memory) to eliminate possible resistance effects at the fuse.
