Quattro Pre-charge: Correct Size? CAP size?

Hello all.

I’ve been reading this site, hastily I admit, but have not seen any official answer on precharge sizing for Quattros.

Can someone direct me to a link or have the answer already?

What is the correct resistor size for two 10kVA inverters?

Edited/ADDED QUESTION:

What is the capacitor size used in each inverter?

-------

More info/detail below…

TIA,

---

Inverters:

Two 120 VAC Inverters.

I have two 48/10kVa that I’m just now hanging on the wall.

LFP:

Battery modules are using a PACEex BMS per module.

Model: P16S100A-HY17820-20A-K4EN-ZJ

They appear to look a lot like what SOK modules use.

16S Ganfeng 206ah cells

The pre-charge on the internal BMS I’m guessing may be too small from reading other threads.

--------

Again, what is the correct size resistor for two of those?

I’ve read some info on the REC pre-charge, but it doesn’t have a setting specific for Quattros (maybe I missed it).

------

The one recommendation I read (excerpt and link below):

“...I'd recommend a 5 to 10 Ohm resistor for such a big system to charge fast enough (about 100W will do)"

@F9cme

Correct size is the one that doesn't cook when you are using it. (Or get so hot you can't handle it). So something with good wattage ability.

There is nothing specific. Everyone seems to have their own methods.

All you are doing is limiting inrush current so capacitors aren't damaged (and your batteries don't trip).

Appreciate that!

I see the REC uses 15 or a 30 ohm resistor to get to 80% of pack voltage within 100ms. At least that's what i think i just read.

Does anyone know capacitance value for each Quattro 48v 10kVa unit?
