Why when battery is idling its still using power?

Why when my battery is 100% SOC, the grid feed-in is 0W the Multiplus 2 is still using power from the batteries? Its never 0A, its always between -1A and -2A. Why is this happening? This usage costs me 3-5% SOC overnight for nothing. I have 2 sets of batteries which are doing this, one set which does not. Both LFP batteries with Seplos BMSschermafbeelding-2024-01-29-om-212838.png

Hey Benne,

1st:
check to following: Are you 2 Seplos BMS packs well configured? The basic settings start to balance below 3,4V. This will eat energy with no result.

Your Multiplus will draw approx 18 watts self-consumption. Keep this in account as well.

And finally for ESS: What is you grid-setpoint? It should be around zero.

Yes grid is 0. What balance minimum voltage should it be for this?

As a rule of thumb use 3.45V for the balancing to start. Even 3.4 Volts is a the lower edge for Seplos.
