Smart Shunt chassis loads

I'm installing a new Victron system, 2x lfp batteries, 24/12 dc-dc charger, a 12/30 mppt solar controller, and a ip65 Smart Shunt. My query is, is ok to use different chassis earth/return points along the chassis for all load and chargers or, should they all have a common 'tie' point on the chassis to the load side of the shunt? .....cheers Mike

A common ground (tie point or buss bar) would be the best practice.

regman54, thanks mate, yeah I sort of thought as much, so I'll run, in addition to chassis earth, a separate 10mm cable from the shunt load side back to a common tie point about a metre away...thanks mate!
